A farm house burnt down yesterday morning in St. Matthew's Village.
At 6:00 am, Caretaker 54-year-old Rigoberto Perez left the property and when returned, he saw the house burning to ashes. Neighbours captured the devastating spectacle on their phones.
The Fire Department concluded the fire was caused by a tabletop stove which was left unattended and the explosion of the attached Butane tank.
No one was injured in the fire, and arson is not suspected. A police report says the house is owned by Minister of NEMO and Transport Edmond Castro.
