Today's event was to start the works off and it should be completed in 36 months.
That led us to ask Works Minister Montero about whether he will be around for the opening

"That's your opinion but my opinion is that we are going for fourth and we are going to win."
According to the retired Forestry Officer we spoke to - who cut the original line - the mission to cut the road was given to him by the then UDP Minister Hubert Elrington in 1986.
