Two teenagers have been charged for the murder of 43 year old Shane Budran - and one of them is his nephew. Today 19 year old's, Raheem Budran and Kareem Eagan Jr were taken to court and charged with the murder of Shane Budran. Senior Magistrate Aretha Ford remanded them until April 30.
Police say that on Friday night around 10:30 on Wagner's Lane Shane was standing in front of the house where he lived with his nephew Raheem. That same nephew allegedly gave a nod of his head to Eagan who was standing next to Shane with a firearm in his hand. Eagan allegedly fired multiple shots at Shane and killed him on the spot. Police arrived at the scene to find Shane lying face down in front of his house in a pool of blood.
Yesterday Raheem Budran took to Facebook to share a picture of himself with his deceased uncle. He called his Uncle Shane a "general" who he says taught him everything he knows. In the post-Raheem also said that he is hurt that his uncle's life was taken too soon but that quote: "Such is life and life goes on."
