A 24-year-old French national was robbed and shot in the Dump Site area of PG today. It happened between 1:00 and 2:00 this afternoon when Sedric Foersson was walking through Water Hole Road near the area known as Dump when he was approached by two strangers. They robbed Foersson of his school bag, $50.00BZD, and 1,200 Pesos, as well as his credit cards and documents. That should have been enough, but while the robbery was in process Foersoon attempted to run. He'd only made it about 20ft when he heard several loud bangs after which he immediately felt a burning sensation to his back, neck, and upper lip.
Foersson managed to reach the Dump compound where he was given assistance. Police say he is unable to identify his attackers.
