A racoon in The KHMH - and he wasn't there for a checkup! The pictures and videos of the vile intruder have been making the rounds on social media all day. It's even been memed, but it's no joke.
A racoon fell from the ceiling of the emergency ward last night frightening patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
And this afternoon Cherisse Halsall caught up with a man who says he had to slap the critter off his mother's hospital bed.
Tonight the KHMH is apologizing to the public for the incident saying that patient safety is their utmost priority. A representative from the hospital told us the creature did not fall on any patient but fell on a bedside table he also told us that staff promptly dispatched of the racoon. And the hospital says that they've identified where the animal entered the building and repaired the area as part of continuous protocols to secure the building.
