There was a slew of traffic accidents on Belize's highways this weekend, but fortunately, none of them resulted in any fatality.
We report first on an accident that occurred on the Hattieville Boom Road, just after midnight last Friday.
Police were called to an area a short distance away from the CDS Gas Station, where they encountered a police officer from Scotland Halfmoon who was flung from his motorcycle after he had a head-on collision with a Toyota 4-runner SUV.
