Police didn't send out a release on it, but 3 police officers were arraigned in the San Ignacio Magistrate's Court for the crime of extortion.
They've been identified to us as Special Constable Albert Reynolds, Special Constable Eusterio Coc, and Corporal Lanza. The details of the accusation have not been shared with us, but we are told that the complainant said that the incident happened on the Branch Mouth Road where the cops shook him down.
All 3 men were taken to court on Friday, where they were read the single charge. All 3 have been released on bail of $2,000.
Despite the charges, we are told the officers have not been placed on interdiction.
