Decoding The UDP's Political Musical Chairs
posted (March 5, 2020)

And, while that was outside the house, back inside, Jules Vasquez was keeping a close eye on the musical chairs being played on the UDP side.  Here’s what he saw:

It was a rare showing for all 19 UDP representatives, but there were some shuffling in the line-up. Edmond Castro is now in the front row, while John Saldivar and Gaspar Vega are behind the Prime Minister in the back bench. Vega showed up for his first house meeting in almost two years.

While Hugo Patt is on the front row beside the Prime Minister, Second deputy leader Beverly Williams is still in the back row - she says the seating is determined by seniority.

Which is why Michael Finnegan is sitting right beside the Deputy Prime Minister, while former Patrick Faber has been forced to move down three seats.
