And while Peyrefitte was the one being grilled yesterday, he said he will be grilling the Americans about upgrades for the BDF to help fight that country’s drug war:

"I have a meeting on Monday with the US Embassy and possibly on Monday in DC and on behalf of the people of Belize and the national security apparatus I will be asking them for resources to provide us with all the technical equipment that we need to help us fight a problem that is primarily there’s and their war."
