The Taiwanese Embassy in Belize has handed over a generous donation of 400 wheelchairs to the Ministry of Health.

The wheelchairs were delivered to the Ministry today in a ceremony that was held in the Vaccine Room in Belmopan.

One of the main speakers was the Taiwanese Ambassador, Remus Chen, and he said that the donation comes from two Taiwanese non-governmental organisations. 

Minister of Health Pablo Marin and his CEO, Dr. George Goff, received the donation on behalf of the Government.  There is now word yet on how these will be distributed.
