No Clues On Carolyn's Killer
posted (March 12, 2020)

2 days ago, police discovered the body of 65-year-old Carolyn Arnold, and tonight the cops aren’t any closer to solving her murder.

As we told you, she was discovered early on Tuesday morning in the Lake Garden Area of Ladyville. She was wounded, badly brutalized, and her partially nude body was discarded in a most disturbing manner.

She was last seen alive on Monday night when she was leaving a friend’s house, and at this time, police are trying to determine the series of events that occurred after she decided to go home, up until the time when her body was discovered.

When we asked police for an update in the case, they told us this morning, that they don’t have any. We also asked about reports we received which she may have had some sort of land dispute prior to her death:

Sr. Supt. Hilberto Romero - Deputy Head, NCIB
"The investigation is exploring every lead that we get. Yes, that is a part of the investigation that we are following upon. Several persons were detained, and are being interviewed in regard to this investigation. But at this time, no one has been arrested and charged."

Reporter
"It’s a very disturbing crime that this elderly woman was found partially nude. Is there any indication in the investigation as to what it was, what reason it was that she was disrobed?"

Sr. Supt. Hilberto Romero
"No, we do not have any information to indicate all those details as were found. Again, the investigation is still ongoing, and as it goes along, we are endeavouring to try and solve this crime. The post-mortem examination was scheduled for today."

She leaves behind a host of family members, including 15 grandchildren, and12 great-grandchildren.
