So while home is still the place that when you go there, they have to let you in,  

Baptist-Estrada made it clear: don’t - under any circumstances - enter Belize through an illegal border crossing.  That’s where El Salvador’s first case came from: someone entering the country from Italy through an illegal point of entry.

Baptist-Estrada said those have to be shut down:

"We have those hotspots like Bullet Tree, Arenal. We have Santa Cruz in the Orange Walk district, we have Blue Creek and like I also mentioned, Pachakan. Like I mentioned before, the immigration, the customs, the police, the BDF, we have indeed joined forces to deter as much as possible those persons who may want to use those illegal crossings. Somebody who does not come in through the regular means and has access through those areas by the help sometimes of our own Belizean people that could be the individual who brings that COVID 19 into the jewel and we will not want that."
