And while the cops will have to put down those cellphones; children will have to stay inside. A part of this state of emergency is a curfew for minors from 8 pm to 6 pm. 

The commissioner and attorney general explained the rules for minors at night.

"The regulation does call for a curfew for minors and as you know that we still have the families and children protection of children declaration Belize City regulation in place. So even in the absence of this regulation, there is curfew  throughout here in Belize City but yes the regulation does make provision for curfew for minors, in the declared areas."
