And while a lot of the suspects are known criminals, many are asking what has been behind this weeks explosive spate of killings, which has seen an extraordinary number innocent persons, and two children killed inside their homes. The commissioner said that it was mostly retaliation.

"Some of them Jules may be acts of retaliation some of them we believe the wrong persons were targeted for example the one in King’s Park, we believe that the wrong family was targeted. The one yesterday on Orange Street there seems to have been an issue between the two rival gangs in that area and then shots began to fire at the same time these persons were in the area and then they were caught so while some may have been targeted some from what we believe are not."
