And the next stage of contact after the flight, is the immigration officer, and then the domestic flight this patient zero took to from the PGIA to San Pedro, and then to her immediate family in San Pedro.  Manzanero addressed the report that this first patient wasn’t self isolating but socialising on Saturday night:

"According she was in a party at San Pedro on a Saturday night, how true is that, we have spoken with her, she did interact with other 8 family members as I understand on that Saturday. Those have all now been place in isolation, 3 of the persons who she was routinely in contact with before she came to the facility were isolated from Friday. We are going to assess individually all those persons who interacted with her on the Saturday. The people who were closely in contact with her on the Thursday, Friday, those will be swabbed and brought to Belize City today; the process will start maybe at 5 PM in terms of running the samples. Now we are, because we are scaling up our screening, we are telling people that it can take up to 24 hours because we are going to run it batch numbers now. The victim's mother attended her welcome party is now in Benque Veijo, we have gotten a lot of emails in that regard, what we are told she is actually in isolation with her at her house in San Pedro, so we don't know if she is actually in Benque, we didn't even know she is from Benque."
