And the Prime Minister also responded to her this evening in his address which ended 40 minutes ago. Here's what he said:
Rt. Hon. Dean Barrow, Prime Minister
"There is no way we are going to quarrel with people that are in a state of bereavement. No answer will therefore be made to the charges that have been hurled at us. It doesn't mean that we accept those charges, but I think you will understand that if we are to be at all sensitive and we must be sensitive, we can hardly appear to be pursuing a quarrel with members of the bereaved family. In due course the DHS and other members of the health team will in fact do a press conference and I will either join them or as soon as we can get our act together arrange for a press conference to be done virtually."
