And while the tests should be coming through, some supplies have been stopped by supply chains which are now being commandeered by developed countries, mainly the USA.
Manzanero discussed that today:

"Additional ventilators - 8 have arrived, 6 were deployed to Karl Heusner, 2 are here at the warehouse here in Belmopan for deployment wherever they are needed. We are aware that the US has put a policy restriction of PPEs and items needed to come, but Covid-19 has this affected us in any way? Yes, there was a delay in the ventilators getting here and that is causing a further delay in further ventilators getting here."
"Just before I came here, I am being told that some masks that were initially due to come here, there might be a delay in terms of when they actually get here. So we are looking at avenues of where we can reroute items that would be coming routinely through the US so that they can get here."
