Roca Family Blames Cops
posted (April 20, 2020)
So, as viewers have seen, the Roca family believes that police played a direct role in his death. They were already suspicious that the issue wouldn't be assessed fairly because police officers are allegedly involved. But, a few more occurrences between yesterday and today have cemented that deep sense of distrust that they've developed toward police.

Here's how his sister explained why they think that police are hiding something:

Delita Roca - Sister of the Deceased
"We got there at exact 10, we waited until after 11 for this doctor to come. When the doctor came, my brother went to witness the thing. He says they didn't do any postmortem. We were outside and we could have smell him already when they opened the door, he was already decomposed. He says the doctor say they are not doing any postmortem and my brother ask about the swelling that he had, because obviously it was infected and he told us that it look like they drained it. My brother ask the doctor about the swelling he had from the beating and the doctor told him that Ulysease didn't have any swelling and no sign of police brutality. My brother told that doctor that he saw it - we all saw it. We have pictures and videos and he was like I'm the expert here, I'm telling you that it wasn't because of that. My brother says that they didn't cut him open when he was there. We expect justice, but honestly with the system we have here, all people tries to do is cover up for the police department, so we will try to do what my brother started, but nobody knows if we will succeed, because the justice is a failure in Belize."
