Belize now has 16 confirmed COVID cases on record. Up until yesterday it was 18, but today on "Ask the Experts", the Director of Health Services confirmed that one patient - he wouldn't say which one - has twice tested negative and is now classed as fully recovered.
And then, information posted by the Ministry half an hour ago shows that a second patient is also classified as fully recovered. Here is Dr. Manzanero speaking at 1:00 this afternoon when there was only one fully recovered patient:

"We have one recovered patient so far. We can only say recovered after you have 2 negative samples, so we only have one person that meets that definition and we anticipating that throughout this week in the testing processes that continue that will be able to have and will be able to tell you of recovery cases as we move along."
Since then, samples returned today show another patient fully recovered from COVID-19.
