So, there have not been any positive samples taken since last week Sunday, and those results were released on Monday.
So, with no new confirmed cases detected in 8 days, what is the trajectory of Belize's epidemiological curve? When will it peak?
Manzanero said there's really no curve:
Dr. Marvin Manzanero, Director of Health Services
"We are perhaps not even having a curve because it remained there. It hasn't gone anywhere. If we are able to contain this, assuming we have no cases popping up over the next 7-10 days, then it will have been a wave one if you will. Which means whenever you get exposed to people from outside of Belize, if nobody else shows up - can you have a second wave? Yes and you can have multiple waves down the road and for the next 12 - 18 months."
