Manzanero Watches Mexico Warily
posted (April 21, 2020)
But, our neighbour to the north Mexico does have a curve, and it's steeply climbing right now. The country has 8,261 confirmed coronavirus cases and 686 deaths.

Manzanero says that their curve is set to peak in May:

Dr. Marvin Manzanero, Director of Health Services
"The government of Mexico this morning declared that they are now in a stage three situation. And they are not expected to peak at the current curve that they are having until May 23rd. That's more than a month from today. So that will give you an idea of where they are going with their number of cases, in case people are already asking when will that border, for example, be opened? I can tell you that they are not expected to peak until May 23rd so that we get an idea of how difficult it is to do predictions in that regard."
