In another police update, the Commissioner says his department will seek to expel the three officers involved in forcing a man and woman to have sex.

Police formally arrested and charged Corporal Jason Shaw, countable Leslie Martinez and Constable Anthony Villamil for the crime of “Willful Oppressionâ€￾. 

The officers have pleaded not guilty and are out on bail. 

But, while that matter is in the courts, Williams says that their dismissal is being sought:

"We have since wrote the 3 police officers involved and we are asking them to show reasons why they should not be dismissed from the police department in light of the allegation against them. It is a part of natural justice, I cannot at this time say whether or not they will be dismissed because that will show some biased on my part who will be the ultimate decision maker but as the response is receive, which I believe should be by tomorrow. I will review the response and will make a decision as to whether or not they will be dismissed or remain with the department but whatever decision I make, must be done reasonably considering all the circumstances."
