The San Ignacio Police station got a free deep clean this morning - and we don’t mean with “Flashâ€. It’s a virus grade sanitization donated by Jose Canul of Green Wave Industries. Canul says the disinfection he offers meets the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
And this morning when Green Wave’s 5 man crew arrived at San Ignacio’s Police station they weren’t Fumigating or wide spraying. That’s because those methods are not CDC approved for fear of aerosolization which can move the virus somewhere else. Instead, the environment must be dampened in order to properly disinfect the area.  Â
Disinfect they did from police bicycles to air conditioners and even computer equipment. It’s safe to say that every surface of San Ignacio’s police department and courtroom is clear of COVID-19 and everything else.Â
