A Canadian national wanted on an Interpol red notice has been caught in Belize.
59-year-old Francis Emmanuel Mella was apprehended by the Special Branch in the Corozal district on a charge of fraud.
It seems that Mella, while operating as Dave's Diesel Repair in Edmonton, Alberta between 2008 and 2014 committed fraud to a value exceeding $5,000.00 Canadian dollars.
Mella is detained and expected to be expelled as soon as flights with connections to Canada resume.
