And for those student teachers who are trying to fully qualify for their licenses, the Ministry is considering the fact that they will not be able to participate in an external assessment since schools are currently closed. The Deputy Chief Education Officer says that the internal assessment grades for these student teachers will have to be weighted more, given the ongoing COVID-19 threat:

The online applications for teachers' licenses, continuous professional development courses, and the distance learning courses for students can be found at the Ministry of Educations Website, located at www.moe.gov.bz





To Get Your Teachers License...

There are also teachers whose licenses will expire during the State of Emergency. The. Ministry says that they will also apply online to get their licenses renewed, and according to Dr. Villanueva, the process has been made as simple as possible:






No Doubling Up on Motorbikes

"Air Tanker" Dumped 23K Gallons Over Cayo Hotspots in 57 Flights

And to follow up on our headlines story - here's footage of the so - called air tanker water bombing an area south of Benque Viejo that had been having persistent fires. The crop duster loaded with 500 gallons went there at 3:30 after it made 35 flights over Belmopan.

It made 11 flyovers south of Benque, and another 11 flyovers south of San Ignacio. In total, the airman Limited crop duster let off nine thousand gallons of water on three fire areas in San Ignacio and Benque. It let go another 14,000 gallons over Belmopan which had 6 major fires.





Bowen's Gifts Deployed

Yesterday we told you about Bowen & Bowen's major donation to the Ministry of Health.

The first set of those supplies including beds and face masks were delivered today.

As we've told you, US regulations being what they currently are, Bowen and Bowen had to source the much needed medical supplies through Mexico. So, while some supplies are already here, the remaining items including 10,000 COVID-19 Testing Reagents and eight Ventilators will be delivered between May 8th and 15th.
