And while the police have to be watching every sector of society from storeowners and to barbershops, to buses and water taxis, they are also being watched.
And a case of abuse came to the fore over the weekend when a cop was caught on camera tossing a man about like a rag doll.
Today, the weary commissioner would only say that he had heard about it:

"Commissioner have you seen a video circulating from San Pedro of a police officer apparently using excessive force on a young man that his sister claims she sent him to buy pampers at a store and some altercation went down between this young man and the police officer and he is seen being thrown across a road by a police officer."

"Yes, I saw the video, I don't know the full story, but Professional Standards Branch has been tasked to look into the matter and then we see how it goes from there."
