Accused of Killing A 90 Year Old
posted (May 4, 2020)
It's remembered as one of the most brutal murders of 2017. A defenseless 90-year-old killed by two men while working in his store for what, at the time, his family said was 50 dollars in a drawer.

In truth one of Pablo Pol's murders was a minor. He was caught by Guinea Grass Villagers just 12 days later, but his accomplice long known to be 29-year-old Amin Cho had long evaded capture. That is until today. And this morning ACP Myvette told us how Cho is being brought to justice.

ACP Joseph Myvette - Head, NCIB
"On today's date based on the investigation conducted into the murder of Pedro Pol, which had occurred on 15th June 2017 in August Pine Ridge Village. If you would recall he was a shop owner in August Pine Ridge Village and sometime around 2:30pm he was attacked by a hispanic male with a machete and robbed and he received several injuries to which he succumb later that day. On today's date police have since arrested and charge Amin Cho, 29 years old Belizean of Guinea Grass Village for the crime of murder."

"This happened almost 3 years ago, one month short of 3 years ago. Has he been hiding out in the village or had he absconded over to Mexico?"

ACP Joseph Myvette - Head, NCIB
"We are of the opinion that he was not around, because efforts have been made to catch up with him during that period of the investigation."

Reporter
"I asked because there is the report that he may have been in Botes. If that is the case, are you all looking at any issue that he may have to be quarantine as well?"

ACP Joseph Myvette - Head, NCIB
"Well, if the investigation so suggest, but as I mentioned to you he was caught in Guinea Grass and not Botes."

Cho was caught during one of the police operations over the weekend.
