Looking now at Crime Statistics for April - figures for major crime are down - as you might expect in a month that saw a national curfew.

Compared to 2019, Murders in April were down from 6 to 3, robbery down form 21 to 1, burglary down form 42 to 32, and theft down from 9 to 2.  

Over, in April, reports of Major Crime in April were down from 79 to 41.

So far for 2020, the total number of murders remain 3 above last year at this time, but Major crime is down almost 20%.
