And while you have to swim by the new rules of social engagement, the good news is you can freely travel to any part of the country for that leisure outing. The Prime Minister said inter-district travel is permitted - but don't try to go to Orange Walk for tacos because those vendor stalls will still have to remain closed:

"In my view cross district movement absolutely has to accompany the opening up that we are mandating with respect to hotels and hotel restaurants, but with respect also to the freedom of Belizeans to go swim in our rivers, to go swim in our seas and as well in the context of our saying that not just restaurants and hotels, restaurants generally across the country proving they are open air restaurants can as well open and in terms of tacos vendors, no. When we spoke about open-air restaurants, we were talking about restaurants that are of course within some enclosed or fence or defined property. We weren't talking about street side vendors. So, I'm afraid the answer to the tacos people is, I wouldn't say no, but certainly not yet."
