And what about those cruise line employees we've been telling you about? There are a few dozen Belizeans working on Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian who are stuck on their cruise ships - with no way to get home.
Today, the Prime M minister said they can come but their cruise ship owner will have to pay for their quarantine - which is a uniform position held region wide:

"I think it was Carnival that said they would hope that the government can excuse them, bearing that burden for the quarantining of the crew members. But a similar response from Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. The CARICOM General Council concluded that as a matter of law, it is the responsibility of cruise lines to pay the quarantine costs for any Caribbean nationals that they can succeed in repatriating."
