Nigel Pets Won’t Back Down

Last night on the news you saw representatives of the Belmopan Land Development Corporation. They sent a strong message to Nigel Petillo saying the land at mile 44 is titled private land with an active owner. Well, activist Nigel Petillo heard them too and here was his reposes in a facebook rant today:

Nigel Petillo, Land Activist
"That news that was sent out last night, I am not satisfy with that. I don't want to hear anything about that, but it's no secret that lad is handing over big time to people with deep pockets and deep interest, people are lined up there in long lines day after day until some of us doesn't get time off from work to go and continue line up at that place. Me find it frustrating. When I go there, I am lined with thousands of people. I am not satisfy with that press release from the so-called all of a sudden owners of that land. Again, that's not the only land sitting there. In fact we are going up a couple of miles and we will continue. There are more land. We will not stop. There are a lot of lands in this country. Over 20 years the people have been working on that land in Cotton Tree. Where was Mr. Ysaguirre and the Belmopan Land Corporation? They speak of that land being Cotton Tree agricultural layout and not an individual of Cotton Tree owns a farm land in that agricultural layout. Who are you trying to fool?"
