NEMO's national coordinator, 55-year-old Major Shelton Defour, is lucky to be alive after a major accident yesterday evening that left him and his passenger BDF soldier Malcolm Santos injured and his vehicle with extensive front end damage. It happened around 6:00 near the Orange Gallery. Defour was westbound in his white Isuzu pickup when he crashed into a pile of sand that was haphazardly placed in the middle of the road. Both men were taken to the Western Regional Hospital for treatment. He is recovering tonight.
