City Watching Revenue Like A Hawk
posted (May 26, 2020)
And the City may be able to keep donating, that is if its revenue streams continue to make the improvements they've seen in the last two weeks. Mayor Wagner and his council have been closely tracking the city's coffers as well as its traffic. This morning he told us that collecting data on revenue activity is the only way to plan.

Bernard Wagner, Mayor
"Again, we have seen some little improvement on May 15th. Our weekly revenue for that week was $258,000. For May 22nd, it went up to $300,000. We are also seeing activity at city hall, the average for May 15th we saw 958 customers visiting the trafficking department. Last week ending May 22nd it was 1,017 people going to the traffic department. It's in the neighborhood close to 523 were there on May 15th and on ending May 22nd it was in the neighborhood of 800 people visiting city hall. So we are seeing a gradual increase and that is why we are keeping these data because you can only plan with having the necessary data."
