And "dying" - at least financially - is just what some major tourism employers will be doing without that tourism hard currency cash flow.
But, the Prime Minister tried to put a good spin on on it - and explained the difficult balance between public health and economic death:

"This is a real live issue that's a conundrum that perplexing and any way you call it you are going to have those that say excellent call and you are going to have those who will say you are an absolute idiot to make such a call. What has happen is in my view a temporary setback, not any reason for any loss of hope, rather a spur for us to try even harder and to explore every possible angle so that we can get back on track to a fixed opening date as fast as possible and meantime if there is any chance we could drum-up some charter business we absolutely will pursue that chance relentlessly."
