Last week, we told you about the over 20 pounds of weed that a man left behind at the Belmopan bus terminal. He ran off when the police approached. Well, police have tracked down Belmopan resident. He is Trinidad Perez and yesterday in court he pleaded not guilty and was remanded until 12 August,2020. He was represented by attorney Arthur Saldivar.
Police allege the 10 separate parcels amounting to 10.6 kilos or 23.4 pounds of marijuana had been ferried by Perez all the way from Mexico.
