A boat and three outboard engines were stolen last night in Riversdale Village on the Placencia Peninsula.
At 5:00 this morning, fisherman Hector Martinez went looking for his boat named Hanny, and found that it was gone, along with its 60 horsepower Yamaha engine.
Not long after, another fisherman from that village, Carlos Castellanos found that his 40 horsepower Yamaha engine was also gone, but they left his boat.
And, 20 year old Marvin Lambey also found that his 40 horsepower Yamaha engine had been stolen ofF his 23 foot vessel, the Lucky Dube.
The total value of stolen engines and the vessel is almost 40 thousand dollars.
The Coast Guard has been notified and police say if you know the whereabouts of the vessel, please call 922 or use the P3 app.
