There are persistent reports that a drug plane landed in remote
southwestern Belize this morning. The reports say it came down in the
area of Graham Creek, which is right on the border with Guatemala.
But it is a vast and hard to reach area, so tonight, the reports of a
narco plane in the area are unconfirmed. The Commissioner of Police
tells us that they have received the same report but, quote, "so far we
have not found anything…officers still searching the area but service
is very poor."
Of course, by now, the plane, if it did land in the area has been
destroyed, or flown out of there.
