There was also a failed burglary at the Good Friend Shop, located on
Freetown Road in Belize City.
This morning, Simon Wu, the business-owner, reported to police that he
was awoken from sleep by the sound of people talking outside his
business place. When he opened his door, he met an off-duty police
officer who was jogging. That officer reported that he saw someone
coming out of Wu's storage room with a crate of Guinness, valued at
$87.50.
That would-be thief immediately dropped the crate of drinks and escaped
by running through the nearby Puma Gas Station compound.
