Another Drug Jet, This One Lands In Mex, Near Bze Border
posted (June 16, 2020)
A drug plane was circling the northern Corozal District last night - but it ended up landing in Quintana Roo, Mexico, not far from the Rio Hondo boundary with Belize.

A report from Quintana Roo News says the plane landed on a sugar cane road near the town of "Javier Rojo Gómez" in the municipality of Othón P. Blanco - which is the same municipality as Chetumal. We note that the aircraft is anotherHS-125 which is the same kind of jet that landed just outside Chunox village, Corozal almost three weeks ago.

And just like the Belizean law enforcement, by the time the Mexican Navy and National guard got there at 8:45 this morning, the plane had had been cleared of its drug cargo - and was left on the road.

The jet - like so many others is believed to have originated from Venezuela.
