The press also took the opportunity to ask the head of the BDF about reports that soldiers recently had to be placed recently placed in quarantine. The General said that it was done out of an abundance of caution:

"We decided to put our soldiers on quarantine because, yes, we believe they did have some interaction with them, in terms of getting too close. And so, that measure, we put in place because when that person turned out positive, it was something we didn't want to spread within the force because it would definitely deplete our limited numbers."

"Has that quarantine period finished?"

"No, I think they're still there. Week 1 just finished last week, so, they're on week two right now."
