Easy Glen, Not Easy At All With Land Fraud
posted (June 23, 2020)
Last night, we told you how police had to chase down and recapture 49-year-old Goldburne "Easy Glen" Adolphus in Orange Walk Town. That's after he was charged with obtaining property by deception for his alleged involvement in con-games featuring shady land transactions. Well, after he has finished answering to criminal charges for escape and dishonesty in the north, he'll have to face similar charges in Western Belize as well.

Police say that 25-year-old Cesar Tobar, a farmer from Camalote Village, has filed a formal complaint against him. Tobar told police that On November 29th, 2019, he paid Adolphus $1,200 cash for a parcel of land in Harmonyville. Tobar claims that Adolphus presented him with a 3-page lease approval, and a map, which he later discovered were all fakes.
