And those other party colleagues are embittered because they feel that the Prime Minister campaigned for Faber - and directly called delegates at the last minute to swing their support.
This is anecdotal, but we have received independent reports of this - and we asked Faber supporters if the PM was indeed with them:

"As I told you on Friday, I believe the Prime Minister voted for me, yes."

"I thank the Prime Minister for understanding how important it was for us to win."

"Do you say the Prime Minister supported Mr. Faber?"
Juliet Thimbrel
"I believe he did and I don't know that he would shy away from saying so at all. I believe he understood the importance of a victory for Patrick Faber. Not only for the UDP but for the country."

"Is it an indication that Dean Barrow, and let us talk plainly, was supporting Mr. Faber. That is the report we got, he did not say that."
Hon. Michael Heredia Jr.
"I cannot tell you that but probably so. But I believe that it was so. It is a right indication that the masses are saying Faber is the only one that can bring victory and that is what I said this morning."
