And those learning plans will also have to include teaching students by shift systems. That means your child may not go to school every single day, but he or she may do so on alternate days. And the bigger the school, the bigger the shift. Babb explained:

"Should parents generally expect their children to be in school Monday to Friday?"

Dr. Carol Babb, Chief Education Officer
"It depends. I want to be very specific and give some examples to you: if we look at a big school like Holy Redeemer school, there is no way that that school can have all the children going to school as is normal or unless of course the management can find additional spaces to put those children and teachers, so those schools that have very large population will have to use a shift system. The schools that are smaller and can physically distance and children between their friends a minimum of 3 feet, those children can go to school every day normally for 5 days."
