And so, while there is a call for UDP's Frank Mena to resign, the press asked his colleague, Pablo Marin, if he will be contesting the next general election in Corozal Bay.
The 3-term COROZAL Bay representative gave an emphatic yes to that question. He also added that his constituents will no doubt recognize all he has done in his capacity as their area rep, and as Minister of Health. Here are those comments:

"Would you seek another term under Faber's leadership?"
Hon. Pablo Marin, Minister of Health
"Definitely, I have work for Corozal Bay and I have done a tremendous work in Corozal Bay apart in the ministry of health. We have seen a big expansion in all healthcare services across the country. We have employed more people. We have expanded a lot of the services and like a joke I always mention to the opposition, show me one thing that the opposition did in their time - 4 terms and I can show what I have done in Corozal for 3 terms. So I feel very proud of what I have done, I have helped not only UDPs but also PUPs. I put it this way, I have helped the Belizean people on a whole and I think everyone knows in Corozal and around the country that I don't see falling. I see that you need it and I will help."
Marin was a visible Faber supporter in the last convention.
