The Dollar Van Saga Continues
posted (July 21, 2020)
One place you'll have to guard against contracting COVID-19 is on public transportation which means water taxis, buses, and dollar vans.

Pollard says that the checkpoints will also regulate the number of passengers that any one van can carry. He says drivers tend to stack their vans with up to 8 passengers even though social distancing measures would dictate that they carry no more than 5. The drivers say that they would like to comply but that the council's insistence on a one-dollar rate will force them to carry more passengers.
