And, two buses played a big part in that unrest yesterday. One of the
buses was parked in front of the Port's main entrance at 6:30 am, and
the other was set on fire down by the Customs building at around 8:30
am.
Well, the buses are for Yohny Rosado - and this very unlucky vehicle
owners says they were stolen from his wash man:
Yohny Rosado - Bus Owner
"I give my buses to a young man to get detailed and this morning my bus is
out here and it catch fire and I was waiting for the police to come and ask
me any questions or find out how the bus get here but I get tired of
waiting. I came here earlier this morning, the media wasn't here, so I come
back again to let the people know that I feel for my bus broke up and burn
up but I feel more bad to see my people the punish because of one, Mr.
Ashcroft. I have a great lost today but I with these people here and I will
take loss with my buses, if you look at the engine, brand new, they just
fix it up. It pains me inside to see my bus out here but it hurt me more to
see the people out here punishing."
Very notably, Rosado's D-Max pickup was stolen from in front of his
house in December of 2019.
