And, today in Belmopan, the Government broke ground in Belmopan for the construction of a new Belmopan Polyclinic 2, which will be located on the compound of the Western Regional Hospital.
The project is being funded through a loan estimated at 1.4 million dollars, which is being financed by the Caribbean Development Bank and the government of Belize. It will be implemented through the Social Investment Fund, and the facility will provide primary health services of residents of Belmopan and nearby villages of Roaring Creek, Camalote, St. Matthew, Cotton Tree, Frank's Eddy, More Tomorrow, St. Margaret, and Armenia.
