Earlier in the day, the press also asked the Commander of the BDF,
Brigadier General Steven Ortega, about these escapes from quarantine
facilities, that keep on happening while his soldiers are on guard
duty.
Here's what he had to say about it today:

"The escape yesterday, they keep happening, escape from quarantine
facilities. What is being done to date? You've spoken about the first two
cases and then I think there has been at least 2 more if not more escapes.
How are these soldiers being held accountable?"

"We have done our investigation and the persons who are found culpable will
be disciplined."
Reporter
"Has anyone been disciplined so far? How many officers?"
Brig. Gen. Steven Ortega
"Yes we have, I cannot say the numbers but we have disciplined people for
these and if it continues to happen, they will continue to be disciplined
because that means they are not carrying out their functions as they
should."
