That is a sobering message for sure, and a San Pedro DJ has gotten it loud and clear. He is Abner Diaz, known on the island as DJ Smallz. He posted his COVID 19 positive status on facebook today - and we spoke to him about it via phone:

"First of all Smallz how do you feel?"

"I am feeling good. The worst already happened the first few days, after that it got smoother and I feel better now."

"How did the symptoms feel when you had it? It felt like a regular flu, what did it feel like?"
Voice of: Abner Diaz "DJ Smallz"
"It felt like a regular flu, I just had fever, headache, minor stuff like that. Later on I had appetite loss and that was when they told me that they traced me from the mapping."

"You know how you contracted it?"

"Well I don't know from whom, they just called me and tell me this person gives your name, they said they had contact with you, so we're just tracking you down, please go for a test and that is how I went through my test and I couldn't tell if I actually got it or not. I just know I got it, I don't know how."

"Do you know how many people you've contacted have gone through a test?"

"I know the people I've contacted and so far they haven't call me for any mapping as yet."

"What prompted you to say hey there is no reason for shame, people have to know and I'll inform the world via facebook?"

"I had think it a few times before I posted it, but then I was like why, I shouldn't. It's a virus and yes its bad, its been killing a few people out there, but for posted it out there I feel like it helps me and the people out there to be aware. I posted it up today because my results came in a little late. It took like 5 days for them to give me my results and its due to too many people who went and took the test and then I posted up for the next reason that probably that I don't know maybe had contacted me, because I mingle with a lot of people, so due to my DJ I see a lot of positive comments and I'll like to thank everyone that have been posting positive stuff."
