And, the government is also planning on how to come to aid the residents of the Fireburn Community. Geographically, it is tied directly to Shipyard, since visitors have to travel through Shipyard to arrive there. So, since the lockdown is now in effect, all residents of Fireburn are now effectively cut off from the rest of the country.
The Attorney General said that the authorities have already identified a protocol to get important food and water resources to them:
Hon. Michael Peyrefitte - Attorney General
"There's a village that's next to Shipyard, called Firebun - I think it is. Now, that village, if you shutdown Shipyard, essentially, you're blocking that village because apparently, you cannot go to that village without first entering Shipyard. We have not declared a state of emergency for that village. So, what we will is this. We'll be making contact with the leaders of that village, or principals of that village, so that the national security team can coordinate with them, as to when they need to go into Shipyard, for any essential needs and supplies. Those people in Fireburn will not be able to go anywhere, except Shipyard, to get what they need. And they will be contained within Shipyard on a regulated schedule, so that they don't just in and out as they want. We realize that that's a unique situation, and we will adapt to that situation."
